Imagine cradling a glass so exquisitely crafted, it feels like an heirloom passed down through centuries. This isn't just crystal; it's a testament to the Italian spirit. Luigi Bormioli's story began in the 14th Century, where a passion for la dolce vita ignited a family's dedication to exceptional craftsmanship. Each piece, born from the fiery heart of Italian furnaces and shaped by the skilled hands of artisans, carries the legacy of over 25 generations of glassmakers.
Luigi Bormioli isn't just about creating glassware; they're about creating artistry for the table. Their innovative designs, a collaboration between Italian heritage and cutting-edge science, unlock the unique character of every grape varietal.
More than just functional, Luigi Bormioli glassware elevates the act of enjoying wine into a ritual. It's a chance to celebrate the bounty of our own backyard, to connect with the spirit of Italian craftsmanship in every sip, and to savour the simple pleasures born from a rich winemaking tradition. Let each sip be a toast to quality and craftsmanship.
The Bormioli name has been synonymous with glassmaking in Parma, Italy since the 14th Century, however, it wasn’t until 1946 when Luigi Bormioli founded the modern company and led it to international prominence. The Bormioli family continues his mission: a commitment to great design, traditional Italian craftsmanship and new-age glassmaking technology to create beautiful glassware of the highest quality. Today, the majority of Luigi Bormioli manufacturing is in the production of perfume bottles such as Chanel No5 and spirits decanters including Hennessy Cognac.
